Alicante.

Alicante (Valencian: Alacant) is the southernmost province of the autonomous region of Valencia in Spain. The province is located on the Mediterranean Sea and its capital is the city of Alicante.

The Alicante region has 1,926,285 inhabitants (2010) spread over 141 municipalities. This makes it one of the Spanish provinces with the highest population density.

Alicante is a beautiful Spanish city on the Costa Blanca. Alicante is the capital of the Alicante province of the same name and in the Valencia region. The city with over 320,000 inhabitants is an important port for the export of central Spain and the region with its beautiful sandy beaches attracts many tourists. It is the second largest city on the Costa Blanca after Valencia. Alicante city is easy to reach from the airport, which is located 12 kilometers from the center.
